The activities toward completion and the holding of the proposed conference are as follows:

• Review of the marine biodiversity in Belize and based thereon, compilation of a list of potential participants (November 2010 – March 2011);
• Encoding of published material identified, in terms of the information they contain, into the SeaLifeBase database and preparation of a DVD (or memory stick) on Belizean Marine Biodiversity to be distributed at the conference (January - May 2011);
• Preparation of conference report, to be based on the contributions of the conference participants (April – June 2011).
